I’m Carlos Bennett — owner of Austin Coffee Technician.
I specialize in home espresso machines, and I take them seriously.
For nearly a decade, I’ve been obsessed with how these machines are built, why they fail, and what separates a quick fix from a proper repair. I’ve logged well over 10,000 hours at the bench. That’s real time, real machines, real experience.
I’ve had just about every make and model opened up in front of me. On the outside they all brew coffee. Inside, they tell a different story. I know where they’re strong, where they’re weak, and what it takes to make them right.
When I put my hands on a machine, it leaves better than it came in. I stand behind my work. Every repair carries my warranty — and my name.

DEEP CLEANS and REBUILDS
We do complete teardowns in order to fully clean the inside of your espresso machine. 
CUSTOM MODIFICATIONS
Making your espresso machine as unique as you is not as difficult as one would think. We customize panels and knobs. We'll install PIDs. How about leather wrapping your portafilter? Add lights! Whatever you can come up with, we can do!

E61 GROUPHEAD RECONDITIONING
We do the very best reconditiong of E61 Groupheads. We clean, descale, rebuild, and recondition. Very few truly know the intricates like we do! 
REPAIRS
Once issues are known, it’s time to get down to fixin’ From electrical to mechanical, we will do our best to find the right part at a decent price. We offer estimates and are transparent with labor/service costs during the entire process. 
What do you fix?
I can repair most makes and models of espresso machines made for home use. Brands include; La Marzocco, Rocket, La Pavoni, ECM, Bezzera, Quickmill, Alex Duetto, Rancilio, Jura, Saeco, Gaggia, Phillips, and much more!

How does the repair work?
The process starts with filling out the contact form.
We will contact you and arrange a date for you to bring your unit to our shop, or a tech to visit to pick up your unit*.
In some cases the repairs will be performed on site and on the spot.
Once the repair is complete, we again arrange a date for the delivery and/or pick up and a final test of your espresso machine.
