    Single Boiler Service — $425 + parts
For machines in typical working condition. Includes disassembly, cleaning, replacement of wear components (gaskets, seals), reassembly, and testing.

    Heat Exchanger Service — $575 + parts
For E61 heat exchanger machines. Includes full group service along with additional internal components specific to HX systems.

    Dual Boiler Service — $695 + parts
For E61 dual boiler machines. Includes full system service across both boilers and all associated components.

    Major Service (Any E61 Machine) — $725–$850 + parts
Applied when a machine requires extensive internal work due to scale buildup, age, or wear. This may include deeper teardown, seized fittings, boiler or heating element work, and full front-end rebuilds.

Typical Total: $500–$1,200 depending on machine type and condition

    What to Expect

E61 machines share a common group design, but internal complexity varies by configuration:

    • Single boiler machines are more straightforward

    • Heat exchanger machines introduce additional internal pathways and components

    • Dual boiler machines contain the most complexity and require the most service time

Most machines fall into the standard service categories above. Heavily used or neglected machines may require Major Service.

All work is performed in-house and every machine is fully tested before completion.

    Notes

    • Parts are not included in service pricing

    • Pricing is confirmed after inspection

    • No work is performed without approval

  • La Marzocco home machines are not typical consumer appliances—they are compact commercial systems. They are built with the same philosophy, materials, and tolerances found in professional café equipment. Servicing them properly requires a level of care, time, and technical understanding that goes well beyond standard home espresso machines.

    The Standard of Work

Service is performed with the expectation that the machine will leave in a condition that reflects its original engineering—not a temporary fix.

    This typically involves:

    • Complete access to the brew system and internal components

    • Precision replacement of seals, gaskets, and wear items

    • Evaluation of boilers, fittings, and internal pathways

    • Calibration of pressure, temperature, and flow behavior

    • Electrical and control system verification

    • Full reassembly, testing, and validation under operating conditions

These machines are densely built. Proper service often requires extensive disassembly to reach components that are critical to performance but not easily accessible.

    Why Labor Reflects the Machine

The condition of each unit directly affects the scope of work. Factors include:

    • Internal scale from water quality

    • Wear across high-use mechanical components

    • Prior service history and workmanship

    • Depth of disassembly required to correctly resolve the issue

A machine that has been maintained well will require less intervention. Others may require a deeper, more time-intensive restoration process.

    What This Service Represents

This is not entry-level service work.

It is the handling of a high-value machine with the expectation that it is returned performing as designed—stable, repeatable, and reliable.

The goal is not to “get it working.”
The goal is to bring it back to standard.
